As long as I'm sitting here at this computer, I might as well write something on the old blog. Let's see...after all the commercials and non-weather-related features, I finally got to hear what The Weather Channel and Fox Weather had to say about the Tropics and hurricane season. Looks like there are a couple of spots out in the Atlantic that might develop in the next week or two, but the main area is in the southwestern Caribbean off the Central American coast where they expect development over the next few days...and that's it. Nothing at all like the extraordinarily active system they were predicting...and it doesn't hurt my feelings one bit...
